new computer... can i redownload FS? - GIANTS Software (2024)

so, a couple years back i bought farming simulator 17, i was on a different computer. i got a new laptop so i got rid of the old one... is there any way i can re download farming simulator?

If you bought directly from GIANTS via the farming-simulator.com website you should have received an e-mail with a code and the instructions where you can download the game.

If don't have that e-mail anymore but have some proof that you officially bought the game from GIANTS you could try to contact their support to see if they can find your installation code and send you the download instructions again: https://www.farming-simulator.com/suppo ... country=us

thanks. i will email them. although it was a couple years ago when i bought it i believe it was off the farming simulator website. because it’s not in my amazon history or my microsoft store and i never used steam so it’s got to be. thanks for the help

yeah. i would buy it, just worried about if my laptop can handle it. is there a demo? or requirements i can look at? i’ve got a intel i5 2520 2.50 ghz 8gb of ram and it’s a 64bit. i wouldn’t want to be buying a game and i wouldn’t be able to run it. by the looks of it the graphics look amazing

The minimum hardware requirements for FS19 are documented at https://www.farming-simulator.com/about ... latform=pc (click on the 'MIN REQUIREMENTS' box on the right side of the page).

The important thing besides the processor which determines if the game can run on your laptop is the graphics hardware that is installed. If the laptop only has an onboard Intel graphics chip then the game probably won't run, or if it runs at al then only at the lower graphics settings.

okay. i’ll take a look. i’m not too worried about having the high graphics i just really would like to play the game lol. also, it says my laptop has a AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6760) if you know anything about that just lmk where i’m at thanks for all your help

Solely for your reference, my second computer is a laptop with Intel HD 620 onboard graphics and 4MB of RAM, and it runs both FS 17 and 19 just fine on Medium graphics settings, and not too badly (but not flawlessly) on High.

nice! on my old laptop i think i had 4gb of ram and a I3 processor of some sort... it would run FS17 on low graphics i believe at around 30-60fps... but ive got a bit of an upgrade now, nothing crazy but i hope its enough to run FS19 on low. thats if i buy it of course.
